Stacey has completed a memoir manuscript entitled Pine Melody, in which she explores her spiritual and psychological entwinement with her son Jonah, who died at the age of 29 following a car accident. Jonah was a student at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies at the time of his death. An empath, shaman and earth-tender, he lived with the consciousness that his time was limited.
The book, for which Stacey is seeking representation, is named for the eponymous Klezmer tune that Jonah composed the year before he died.
